To celebrate the fact three passengers were awarded free travel on the Connect service for the next six months. They were Pam Willis-Smith, from Warton, Val and Alan Lewis from Carnforth. Alan said “ The service has been a real joy to us, we particularly like to travel to Kirkby Lonsdale and Milnthorpe where we can go for a walk and travel back without any fuss.” Carnforth Journal.
